The amazing Beyonce Knowles was born in September of 1981 in Huston Texas. She has always been a natural entertainer and has shown it while performing for audiences from all over sense she was a child. Beyonce got her first big break as the lead singer of a group called Destiny’s Child. Together they sold over 50 million records and tipped the top of the charts in the late 90’s. She was a natural performer but as many accomplished professionals she also attend a few schools for the performing arts. In her career she has been able to accomplish many difficult roles, namely; singer, song writer, actress, record producer, model and dance.There are few people out there with the same drive and determination that Beyonce has.

Over the years Destiny’s child ran into some difficult times and they all went their separate ways. In June of 2003 Beyonce was able to release her first solo album, Dangerously in Love, which eventually rose to the top of the charts for that year. On top of her singing career, which she is most known for, Knowles has been able to take part in over 50 movies and television shows. Some that you might recognize would be the Pink Panther, Dream Girls and her most recent movie Obsessed. Between 2003 and 2008 she was nominated for more than 24 different awards ranging from her singing, her song writing and her acting.

As busy as she is, Beyonce still finds time to contribute to charities. She has given to a number of different charities but the one that sticks out in my mind is one that she founded with her former friend from Destiny’s Child, Kelly Rowland. The charity is called Survivor Foundation. It was founded after Hurricane Katrina hit a few years ago. The charity is built to help those that have been affected by the hurricane and low income households to enjoy the wonderful fruits of love that come at Christmas time.

I am sure that we are in store for more Beyonce in the future. She is at the top of her game as a young 27 year old woman. She has so much potential and is using all of it that she knows how to at the moment. If you get a chance you should try and catch one of her concerts when she is in your area. You will not regret it.

Between July and August Beyonce has planned over 44 events. She is going to very busy over the summer with all of her concerts as well as her other responsibilities.
